PET

PET is the default when the bottle has to show the product: crystal clarity, high gloss and a low cost per unit. It is stiffer than PE and cheaper than PETG, and single- or multi-layer co-extruded structures can add a barrier layer for light-sensitive formulas. Typical bottles: toner, makeup remover, shampoo, body wash and hand soap — 300 ml and 500 ml are standard retail sizes.
